The Strike Industries Jitter Plug is a small component that will fix what many shooters consider a big problem. Small frame, third generation Glock owners can rejoice at the arrival of the SI Jitter Plug. The Jitter Plug is designed for use in both full sized and compact Glock pistols, including the G17, 19, 22, 23, 31, 32,37, and 38. The Jitter Plug is a simple solution for the poor lock up in these Glocks.

The Jitter Plug is designed to fit into the rear of the polymer guide rods that are original equipment in small frame third generation Glock pistols. Once in place, the Strike Industries Jitter Plug tightens up the lock up in these pistols. Recoil spring tension is significantly improved, forcing the barrel into solid contact with the breech face. This removes the rattle of poor lock up and can potentially improve the accuracy of your shots when using one of these weapons. The Jitter Plug may fit recoil spring guide rods other than Glock’s polymer rod if they have an open end to accommodate fitting the Jitter Plug.

Rather than opting for an oversized barrel to improve lock up, the simple application is much more economical. Because it is a drop in component, the Jitter Plug doesn’t require complicated installation, and can be easily removed, leaving your weapon in stock condition once more.
