Details:
The Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) Rail Vertical Grip (RVG) is the perfect vertical foregrip for improving the ergonomics of your AR-15, AR-10, or any long gun with a bottom rail on the front end.
The RVG attaches to any Picatinny rail with two Allen screws. A vertical foregrip alleviates the awkward wrist angles required for holding a handguard with no grip. It is also compatible with several off-hand grip styles including the hand stop and Magpul Dynamics' own "thumb break" method.
The textured pattern ensures that you get a solid grip every time with or without gloves. Since the RVG is manufactured from lightweight but sturdy polymer, you can rest assured that this foregrip will not weigh down the front end of your rifle.
Magpul, Furniture That Fits
The Magpul Rail Vertical Grip is quite possibly the best feeling forward grip you will ever use. While a lot of forward grips are round, the Magpul front grip is contoured with your comfort in mind. This RVG Rail Vertical Grip is neither stubby or crazy long. You will find its length perfect to hang on to without it hanging up on your gear. You will have no problem mounting a tape switch on the flat sides of the Magpul vertical foregrip, that's one reason for their design. You can mount the MOE RVG vertical grip anywhere along the guns lower Picatinny rail. Therefore, as your needs change, the Magpul vertical foregrip changes to meet them. You can start the day with the Magpul front grip forward for a solid mid to long range hold, then quickly move it back for a mean CQB stance.
The Magpul Rail Vertical Grip Is Not What You Want, It Is What You Need
Unlike some RVG's the Magpul Rail Vertical Grip uses two screws to lock it in place. They do that for security so it stays where it's supposed to. If you happen to be using something cheap that only uses one mounting screw just think about the potential problems. Think about how foolish you will feel holding a cheap RVG rail vertical grip in your hand while the bad guy is holding your rifle on you. The MOE RVG vertical grip will not transfer heat from the rail, and it certainly won't snap under pressure.
