The Griffin taper mount flash hider features a highly effective 3-prong flash hider, which suppresses flash effectively and does not ping when the weapon is fired. Should you plan to include a taper-mounted sound suppressor on your weapon, this flash suppressor may be used with Griffin's RECCE, Sportsman, PALADIN, or Optimus suppressors and Optimus, Recce, Sportsman, Paladin, and Bushwhacker silencers. Should you prefer a silencer from another manufacturer, the Plan-A™ Taper Mount adapters allow you to use your silencer of choice.
