The 2A Armament Aethon Rail System is a universal handguard that marries beautifully with most forged and billet receivers as well as 2A’s own Aethon receiver sets. This rail is designed to meld perfectly with the top rail upper receiver that is standard to most AR-15 type rifles. When the Aethon M-LOK rail is properly mounted using the included aluminum barrel nut and secured with 2A’s exclusive 45-degree tension screw system the result is a lockup that is second to none. When properly fitted the rail to receiver attachment is almost seamless and it free-floats perfectly.

2A Armament offers the Aethon rail in 7, 10, 12 and 15-inch sizes to accommodate your preferred barrel and gas system length. The inside diameter of this Aethon rail is and unobtrusive 1.3 inches. Each rail is manufactured from Certified 6061 extrusion material and is anodized in black for a Mil-Spec hardcoat finish. The result is an economical rail that is both good looking and tough enough to hold up under heavy use.

M-LOK Slots For Accessories

In addition to standard Picatinny recoil grooves, this Aethon handgarud offers the option to mount additional items with the cutting-edge M-LOK slot system.
