*The 9mm Silent Captured Spring (SCS) requires an open channel in your 9MM bolt assembly for the guide rod to pass during fire. For most bolts, this will require you to remove the pinned-in central mass at the rear of your 9MM bolt. To function with the SCS, this central mass must be removable, and the bolt must still be at its full length without it.

Details:
If you like to decrease the mechanical noise when firing your 9mm AR, you should certainly check out the Silent Captured Spring System. This JP 9mm Silent Captured Spring is designed to give the user of the 9mm AR platform a smoother, quieter operation of the firearm. Since JP Enterprises has been in the gun industry for so long now, they are sure to provide excellent products to all of its customers. Gun owners of all types, including law enforcement officers, military personnel, and recreational shooters trust the JP name to provide high-quality gun parts for everyday use.
The traditional AR 15 platform weapon uses a buffer and spring inside a tube to return the bolt carrier to the starting point when the rifle is fired. The sound of the spring against the tube during firearm operation has been compared to as the sound of a metal object on a cheese grater. Contrary to the conventional operating system, the spring of JP Enterprises’ innovative "silent" system is captured on a guide rod that completely eliminates contact with the buffer tube.
Since the weights of this captured system are a necessary component of its design, there is no need for a separate buffer.
Compatible with both carbine and pistol tubes, this drop-in buffer system is simple to install and is a great way to improve the operational performance of your 9mm AR platform. For a quieter and smoother operation, try out this JP Enterprises’ Silent Captured Spring Buffer System.
