The Aero Precision PRO Series 5.56 AR-15 bolt carrier group has been designed from the ground up to meet the needs of even the most demanding shooter under the most extreme conditions. Each component of the Aero Precision BCG was designed solely to increase the life and reliability of the bolt carrier group.

Improved Shooting Experience

All critical surfaces on the Aero Precision PRO bolt carrier group are precision ground for optimal gas flow for improved fit, function, efficiency, and reliability. In addition, the cam-pin channel is counter bored for increased longevity. This eliminates the need for swaging, which increases stress on the bolt during manufacturing.

Superior Craftsmanship

All of the Aero Precision BCG parts are cut from various grades of high-strength heat-treated steel. The bolt carrier is cut from 8620 steel, the bolt from 9310 steel and the cam pin, the extractor and the gas key from 4140 steel. The ejector is machined from S7 tool steel and the firing pin from 8640 steel. All parts are precision-ground after heat treatment and given a black nitride finish for added durability and to ensure smoother operation. The entire BCG weighs just 11.53 ounces, which is actually less than the OEM bolt carrier group.
