The Enhanced 16-inch .308 Upper Receiver Assembly from Aero Precision is a complete, ready-to-install upper for .308 AR-style rifles. The integrated system is an innovative unit that provides superior performance and accuracy in a lightweight one-piece design.

Competition Grade

The Aero Precision 16-inch .308 upper is designed with the handguard mounting surface forged into the receiver. This creates a stronger and more stable platform. In addition, the integrated design allows for the use of weight-reduction scalloped cuts that result in faster heat dissipation for more efficient barrel cooling. The upper accepts all standard AR .308 components, and the milled surfaces along with the flats aid in handling and comes equipped with a quick-disconnect sling socket.

Superior Craftsmanship

The Aero Precision complete upper assembly is precision machined to the stringent specifications for unsurpassed durability and performance. The 16-inch barrel is cut from 416R stainless steel, weighs in at just over 35 ounces, and has a bead-blasted finish for added durability. It features a 1:10 rifling twist with a 5/8 x 24 thread pattern that fits most muzzle devices and 1.5-inch suppressors. The M4 feed ramps and .750 gas block journal provides for consistently smooth ammo feeding.

Ready To Install

The Aero Precision 16-inch .308 upper comes fully assembled and can be installed without special gunsmithing knowledge. Installation only requires inserting the bolt carrier group and charging handle. Then all you have left is to attach it with your lower receiver. That’s it! You are ready to hit the range.
