This upper receiver assembly incorporates a high-quality 416R Stainless Steel threaded barrel, which is made to be accurate and reliable. The barrel is also equipped with an A2-style birdcage flash hider.

Better Way to Mount Your Accessories

To make your weapon modular and comfortable to shoot, the Aero Precision 16" .308 SS M5 Complete Upper Assembly used a modern M-LOK handguard, which allows you to mount all sorts of optics, grips, flashlights, and other accessories. You can choose between two kinds of handguards, one of which has an additional section of Picatinny rail on the top for mounting iron sights.

Precisely Designed

This slim handguard goes perfectly with the low-profile gas system of the Aero Precision 16" .308 SS M5 Complete Upper Assembly. The gas system results in the smooth operation of the firearm, and the Mid-length gas tube is ideal for the 16-inch barrel.

The Aero Precision 16" .308 SS M5 Upper receiver is made from 7075-T6 aluminum and has a DPMS Hi-profile design and a hardcoat anodized finish. It also incorporates M4 feed ramps for better feeding of ammunition to improve reliability.
