This upper assembly comes in multiple profiles; however, this specific model has a 16-inch barrel. The barrel is made from military standard 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, which is more durable than stainless steel, and has better anti-corrosion and heat dissipation properties. The barrel is also threaded with a 5/8"-24 TPI thread pitch and comes equipped with an A2 Flash Hider.
