The PWS Mod 2 Steel Body Carbine Buffer for .308 uses the same advanced design and surface processing as the Mod 2 H2, H3, and H4 buffers, but in a buffer sized for the AR10 platform. In order to ensure proper cycle function in AR10 systems that use a standard carbine length buffer tube the .308 buffer is foreshortened. It weighs in at 4.4 ounces and is the standard buffer shipped in Primary Weapons Systems MK2 Lowers and complete rifles.
