The barrel is made from high-quality 4150 CMV steel barrel blanks. CMV or Chrome Moly Vanadium steel is corrosion resistant and great at heat dissipation while being super durable and strong. It is used in all Mil-Spec M4 rifles used by the US military. The barrel is 18 inches long and weighs 3.31 lbs. It is rifled with a 1:10 twist rate and threaded to allow muzzle device mounting. The gas port on this barrel is placed at rifle length, which is ideal for an 18-inch long barrel.
