The AFAR Rail Kit includes rails and mounting hardware to make use of accessory rails on some rifle stocks. The rail sections themselves are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum followed up with Mil-Spec Type-III hard coat anodize. The fasteners are made of 4041 alloy steel. These materials have been chosen to save you weight and provide lasting durability.

With these rail sections mounted on your rifle, you can easily install a bipod, monopod, or any other accessory that mounts to a Picatinny rail. This is particularly useful if you have one bipod that you wish to use on a few different rifles.
