This one-piece mount is machined from solid billets of aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum for both a drop in weight and a gain in durability. Also, the skeletonized design eliminates unnecessary bulk and makes the piece even lighter than it already is. This Fortis F1 Optics mounts to the Picatinny rail on your flat-top receiver with two sturdy machine screws. Once your Aimpoint optic is attached to the mount, it will be oriented higher and slightly forward, allowing you to acquire your target much faster.
